Assign a Foster

Keeping track of fosters is the mainstay of any rescue or shelter. Assigning a foster to an animal is easy with BARRK!

Assigning a foster to an animal is easier if you have the foster information in place first. (To create a foster, please CLICK HERE)

To assign a foster to an animal, open the ANIMALS category from the Main page - or - by using the Animals icon on the top of your screen. A list of saved animals will appear.

• Select the animal you wish to assign a foster to by clicking the animal's name.
  
• In the Status section of the details page, click the "Assign Foster" option.
  

A list of volunteers will appear which you can "Assign" to your animal.

For a faster assignment, click on the "Show Available Fosters Only" button to filter your search.

• Click the "Assign" button on the right of the volunteer's name.

• A popup confirmation appears to ensure correct foster. Click the "OK" button.
  
• The animal's detail page will appear with the updated information.
