STATUS

There are seven (7) status types that an animal can have:

  1. AVAILABLE The animal is the care of your organization, but not yet assigned to a foster. Typically, this is a brand new animal, or an animal with special circumstances, which will determined its eventual status.
  2. DECEASED The animal was in care, and is no longer living.
  3. MISSING The animal is in care, and has gone missing. Please contact your local lost animal alert organizations.
  4. ADOPTED The animal has found its furever home. You will be prompted to enter the adoption date as well as identify if the Adoption Fee has been paid or not, if this status is chosen.
  5. ASSIGN FOSTER Your organization has a volunteer human who will care for the animal. You will be prompted to assign this human once you have finished adding the animal.
  6. LONG TERM FOSTER An animal may have long term medical / behavioural issues preventing adoption. The animal may remain in care with your organization for any extended period or forever.
  7. FOSTER TO ADOPT The animal is brought into a foster home where the owners are immediately in the trial adoption stage of the adoption process.
