BARRK makes it easy to keep organization wide documents in one place or attached to the right record. The Documents section is where you keep record of the scanned and uploaded documents that are associated to the organization.


You can navigate to this page by either clicking on the DOCUMENTS category from the home page, or from the documents icon Documents icon.gif along the top row of any page. From this screen, you can upload documents such as vet statements, important legal documents, or forms.

MAIN DOCUMENTS PAGE

This page will show you a list of documents which have *NOT* been assigned to any record. From this screen, you can view, add, edit, and delete the document. High level information is available, such as: name, access level, category, description, and file size. You can easily DOWNLOAD a copy of the document for sharing or distribution.


SEARCH OPTIONS

HYPERLINKS
  • "Name" will direct your to a detailed information page about the document.
  • Icons at the end of each row will allow you to view document details, edit, or delete the document.


RECORD LISTING
  • The page is organized in alphabetical order. In the case where there are multiple pages, choose the "Next" option, or enter in the page number.


SEARCH FIELD
  • The upper right corner of the screen has a search field. Type in the name of an inventory item or letters of known information (eg. part of the name) and BARRK will find all matches, with the string of characters used.
  • BARRK is not case sensitive
  • The complete word does not need to be entered (entering “gr” in the Search field will return a list of records containing the letters “gr” in one of the fields.)


SHOW ATTACHED DOCUMENTS

  • The “Show Attached Documents” button will list ALL the documents of your organization which have been uploaded and attached to a record.
  • To differentiate attached or unattached documents is to check the "Type" column in the "Show Attached Documents" table. Unattached documents are categorized as “N/A.” This will change when the document is uploaded to a record.
  • Clicking “Hide Attached Documents” will return you to the main documents listing, which shows documents that have not been attached to any record.
