There are situations which call for changing an administrator's record: changing access levels, removing the person, or changing a forgotten password. BARRK makes it easy to make changes to all your administrative records!

To edit a user's profile, open the ADMIN category from the Main page - or - by using the Admin icon Admin icon.gif on the top of your screen.

  • Click on the "User Management" button. A list of the existing users of your organization will appear.
  • Select the person by either clicking their name, or the using the edit icon Edit.png at the right-hand side of the user's row. Here, you can edit the user's administrator rights by assigning a new access level, change an email, or selecting certain privileges for this person. You may also delete the user from this screen, if the person is no longer with your organization.
  • Click "Save" after making your changes.

ASSIGNING A NEW PASSWORD

Sometimes, passwords get lost or forgotten and you need to reassign a new one. Also, it is a good practice to change all passwords once in awhile for security reasons. There are a few ways to generate a new password to your users:

METHOD 1: AUTOMATIC PASSWORD GENERATOR

  • From the ADMIN category, click on the "User Management" button. A list of the existing users of your organization will appear.
  • On the right-hand side of the user's row, click the refresh icon.
  • A new password will be automatically generated and emailed to the user.

  • Click on the user's name or the Edit icon at the right-hand side of the user's row.
  • Assign a new password.
  • Click "Save."
  • The new password will be emailed to the user.
