Delete an Event

There may be instances where you must cancel an event. BARRK makes it easy!


To delete or cancel an event, open the EVENTS category from the Main page - or - by using the Events icon Events icon.gifon the top of your screen.</p>

There are 3 (three) methods which will remove your event from BARRK.

METHOD 1

  1. On the default calendar view, click on the event which you'd like to remove.
  2. Click on the "delete" button on the bottom left of the screen.
  3. Click "OK" when prompted.

METHOD 2

  1. In the "View List," click on the event name.
  2. Click on the "delete" button on the bottom left of the screen.
  3. Click "OK" when prompted.

METHOD 3

  1. In the "View List," find the event which you would like removed.
  2. On the far right of the event's list, click on the delete (trash bin) icon.
  3. Click "OK" when prompted.

OH NO! DID YOU DELETE THE WRONG EVENT OR WANT THE EVENT BACK ON RECORD?

No worries, BARRK has a few tricks where your record can be recovered!

METHOD 1: WITHOUT LOGGING OUT of your Barrk Session

  • Use the back arrow on the top left of your screen until the record reappears.

(There will be a pink warning box "This record was marked as deleted on ... ")

  • Click on the "Edit" button.
  • Click "Save."

Your record is recovered and again listed in your BARRK database.

METHOD 2: ALREADY LOGGED OUT of your Barrk Session

  • Log back into Barrk.
  • Click the EVENTS category from the home page - or - the Events icon Events icon.gif on the top navigation bar.
  • In the Search box (top right of the screen) type in "deleted" --- small letters, no quotations. Click "Search."
  • A list of deleted records will appear.
  • Now, either: 1) click on the events's name, click the "Edit" button, then "Save"; - or - 2) click the "Edit" icon Edit.png at the right-hand side of the event's row, then "Save."

Your record is recovered and again listed in your BARRK database.
