Request a Document

Keeping track of documents is one of the essentials in organizing your rescue or shelter. BARRK makes it easy to record document requests as a reminder to obtain a document in the future.



Select the category (Animal, Person, Vet, etc) where the document corresponds

Select the record which you'd like to keep the document (person's name, animal record, etc)

Click the Documents tab, and then click the “ADD A DOCUMENT” button

  • Enter in the name of the document
  • Set the access level
  • Check "Upload when ready" button
  • Under the "Information" header, enter the category
  • Description of the document such as: adoption form, venue receipt, permits, etc.
  • Optional notes if required
  • Click "Save"
  • The requested document will be listed in the Documents tab of the record


NOTE:

Once saved, requested documents can be viewed and edited when you select the "Documents" tab for that record. Under the Details header, "Request" will be listed. Click the "upload" button when the document becomes available.
