Edit, Delete, or Add a Comment to a Vet
Sometimes, a new veterinarian becomes associated with a vet hospital, or the hospital may change locations. Editing the vet's data is simple with BARRK! |
You can navigate to this section by either clicking on the VETS category from the home page - or - by clicking the Vets icon on the top navigation bar.
EDIT A VET RECORD
- To edit a vet's record, 1) click on the vet's name, then click the Edit button; - or - 2) click the "Edit" icon
at the right-hand side of the vet's row.
- Enter the updated information and "Save."
ADD A COMMENT
- To add a comment to a vet's record, click on the vet's name.
- Click on the "Comment" tab on the top of the details box.
- Type in your comment and click "Add Comment."
A time stamp and record of who made the comment is added to the vet's record. You may edit or delete the comment by selecting one of the icons.
DELETE A VET
Each vet has specific information for each animal that comes into care. We recommend NOT to delete the vet's record, but make the vet "inactive." This way, any historical medical information associated with an animal will be retained.
- To edit a vet's record, 1) click on the vet's name, then click the Edit button; - or - 2) click the "Edit" icon
at the right-hand side of the vet's row.
- Click the "Inactive" button under the vet's name.
- Click "Save."
