<tt> Sometimes, a rescue or shelter rents a storage unit for their inventory. BARRK makes it easy to keep track of these items in storage. </tt>

 Before assigning the inventory items to a storage facility, a "person" must be created so assignment and location of the item can be traced back to the facility. Please visit [[Add_a_Person|ADD A PERSON]] to add a volunteer. Instead of a person's name, you add the name of the storage facility, with its contact information.

Once the facility's record is established, you can now assign the inventory items to the storage facility. If you have more than one storage unit, please repeat the above steps until the facilities are entered.
